Intra-Oral Camera Helps You Make Decisions
Dr. Jones wants you to take an active role in decisions about your dental care. With the intra-oral camera, you can have a clear, close-up picture of your teeth. This miniature video camera lets you see for yourself what teeth need treatment and those that are just fine. You will be satisfied as a full participant in your dental health care.
Isolite™ - For Patient Comfort and Excellent Dentistry
Your comfort is our concern, and Isolite is a new technology that makes treatments much more comfortable. As modern dentistry procedures require a very dry area for long-lasting results, Isolite keeps both teeth and gums dry without the use of a bulky rubber dam. It is a suction device that also provides a brilliant light to illuminate the oral cavity for precision work. It also results in a patient having to spend a third less time in the chair.
No Waiting Time and 75% Less Radiation!
Imagine no more waiting time for X-rays to develop. With digital technology, it is easy to have a panoramic view of your upper and lower jaws in just one shot. A sensor is placed in your mouth, and immediately, we can view your teeth on our computer screen. This advanced technology also results in 75% less radiation than the nondigital method. No chemicals are used, which makes it a pollution-free process.
Laser Dentistry - No Cutting or Stitches!
Dr. Jones utilizes state-of-the-art laser technology to remedy periodontal (gum) infection. Laser dentistry is a safe, fast, and very effective way to reverse diseased gum tissue or correct "gummy" smiles. Use of a laser makes for faster healing, and often stitches are not necessary.
Custom Mouth Protection for Any Activity
Many athletes are injured during sports performances. A common occurrence is a trauma to the mouth, resulting in tooth loss. Approximately 5 million teeth are knocked out annually just in the United States alone. If proper mouth protection had been worn, most of these teeth could be saved. Those found in stores are not made to fit your specific teeth and often make breathing difficult during exertion. A custom-made mouthguard, which our practice can provide, fits well and gives maximum protection for any sport.
Enjoy 170 Channels in HD - While Getting Your Teeth Cleaned!
We offer a personal entertainment station with over 170 channels in high definition in each treatment room. We are very excited to bring this enjoyment to you. You can watch your favorite shows or sports and catch up on news while having your teeth cleaned or other treatment performed. For those who prefer more relaxation, we also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), IV, or oral sedation.
Three-Dimensional Dentistry!
Dr. Jones is proud to be one of the first practices in the region to use 3-D cone beam CT digital imaging technology. This is essentially a three-dimensional X-ray providing FAR more accurate images than traditional X-rays. The process takes much less time and causes much less radiation exposure. A great advantage of ultra cone beam images in determining diagnoses and evaluating treatment options is Dr. Jones' ability to clearly see your anatomy in 3-D, instead of flat, two-dimensional images. What does this mean? Much greater accuracy for all dental treatment!
The Highest Level of Accuracy and Precision
The 3M™ True Definition Scanner allows Dr. Jones to take three-dimensional impressions for many of the dental treatments we offer, including crowns and bridges, inlays and onlays, veneers, clear aligners, and mouthguards. One of the best benefits of this scanner is that we no longer need to do tray-and-putty impressions. If you've ever endured that awful stuff that can cause gagging and discomfort, you'll love this scanner! Dr. Jones takes a digital impression of the area, which goes right into the computer and is available for him to design your new smile. Then the files can be sent directly to the lab that creates the tooth, aligners, veneers, etc. The accuracy is undeniable, all but guaranteeing a perfect fit and an easy application. You spend less time in our office and more time enjoying your new smile!
Wondering How Your New Smile Will Look?
With computerized cosmetic imaging, you can view how your teeth and new smile will look before any treatment has begun. You can see all the changes made by various techniques resulting in replacement, reshaping, and whitening for a new smile. It is very exciting to see the difference in your smile take shape.
