Meet Dr. Eric Jones
Dr. Eric Jones earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, after earning his bachelor's degree from Clemson University. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Jones has also been awarded Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, and Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Jones takes numerous postgraduate education courses each year and has received extensive training in IV sedation, occlusion (your bite), and esthetic dentistry, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his practice so he has a multitude of methods for solving complex dental problems. Most recently, Dr. Jones has completed a 9-month comprehensive dental implant program through Georgia Regents University.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Jones also lectures (www.DrJonesSpeaks.com) on cosmetic dentistry nationally to both students and dentists, has published in the Journal of Dental Research, and presented at the International Association of Dental Research. Currently Dr. Jones teaches other dentists systems and techniques for cosmetic dentistry, digital photography, and dental materials serving as a clinical instructor for the Clinical Mastery Series (www.clinicalmastery.com). His well-rounded approach to education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Jones is an active participant in the community, serving on the leadership committee of the Georgia Missions of Mercy. He and his wife Margaret live in the area with their three children, Eloise, Teddy and Finn. In his spare time, he enjoys getting out on the lake and watching college football (go Tigers!).
Meet Dr. Katherine Copeland
Dr. Katherine Copeland earned her dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD), after earning her bachelor's degree from Furman University. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Throughout her training at ULSD, Dr. Copeland continually sought out opportunities to further her skill set. She completed an externship through the Indian Health Service at a clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, providing quality dental services to the Cherokee Indian tribe. Most recently, Dr. Copeland has completed advanced training in esthetic dentistry, occlusion, and Invisalign™ orthodontic training. Dr. Copeland's commitment to pursue postgraduate education in advanced dentistry allows her to incorporate these services into her practice to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. Copeland also places high value on giving back to the community. She volunteers regularly at Truth's Community Clinic in Lawrenceville, and also volunteers annually for Community of Smiles, an event that provides free dental care to over 1,500 people in Gwinnett County each year. Previously, Dr. Copeland had the opportunity to serve on a mission trip with the Christian Dental Society, rendering dental care to under-served communities in Mavis Bank, Jamaica.
Dr. Copeland and her husband, Taylor, live in the area and in their spare time enjoy gardening, exercising, and weekends on Lake Rabun, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Meet Dr. Parth Patel
Dr. Parth Patel grew up in Atlanta, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine in Illinois after receiving his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. He then further continued his journey by pursuing an optional Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency from Wichita State University in Kansas where he became proficient in prosthodontics, implant surgery and restorations, oral surgery, Invisalign, and advanced endodontic procedures. Most recently, Dr. Patel has completed an implant fellowship from New York University, Stony Brook.
Dr. Patel is dedicated to providing the best dental care and staying current with the newest dental advancements, having completed over 500 hours of continuing education courses. His mission is to practice comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on personalized patient care.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). In his free time, he enjoys giving back to the community through various outreach events, traveling, cooking, playing cricket, and spending time with family and friends.
