Meet Dr. Eric Jones

Dr. Eric jones

Dr. Eric Jones earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, after earning his bachelor's degree from Clemson University. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Jones has also been awarded Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, and Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Jones takes numerous postgraduate education courses each year and has received extensive training in IV sedation, occlusion (your bite), and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Jones has also completed advanced surgical training through several prestigious programs including the 9-month comprehensive dental implant program through the Dental College of Georgia, the Pikos Institute, and has become certified in the Chao Pinhole Technique for treating gum recession. This education allows him to incorporate advanced treatments into his practice so he has a multitude of methods for solving complex dental problems.

In addition to owning a private practice, Dr. Jones lectures (www.DrJonesSpeaks.com) on cosmetic dentistry nationally to both students and dentists. He is also published in the Journal of Dental Research and presented at the International Association of Dental Research.

Currently, Dr. Jones teaches other dentists systems and techniques for cosmetic dentistry, digital photography, and dental materials - serving as a clinical instructor for the Clinical Mastery Series (www.clinicalmastery.com). His well-rounded approach to education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.

Dr. Jones is an active participant in the community, serving on the leadership committee of the Georgia Missions of Mercy. He and his wife Margaret live in the area with their four children, Eloise, Teddy, Finn, and Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys getting out on the lake and watching college football (Go Tigers!).

Meet Dr. Katherine Copeland

Dr. Katherine copeland

Dr. Katherine Copeland earned her dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, after earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Furman University. She maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Hinman Dental Society, and The Academy of General Dentistry. She is currently working towards achieving her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Copeland is dedicated to her craft and the care of her patients. She has completed over 500 hours of postgraduate advanced education and continues to take additional courses each year so she can stay current with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry. She has attended the prestigious Kois Center and has completed additional advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion (your bite), sedation, esthetic crown lengthening, Invisalign™ clear aligners, cosmetic injectables, and dermal fillers. Her commitment to pursuing postgraduate education in advanced cosmetic and functional dentistry allows her to incorporate these services into her practice to provide the highest quality of care to her patients. 

Dr. Copeland also places a high value on giving back to the community. She is involved in various aspects of her local community and has served on mission trips both in and out of the country. She volunteers at Truth’s community clinic in Lawrenceville and for Community of Smiles, an event that provides free dental care to over 1,500 people in Gwinnett County each year. She also serves on the executive board and regularly volunteers at Community Dental, a clinic that provides free dental services to underprivileged residents of Northeast Georgia.

Dr. Copeland lives in the area with her husband, Taylor, their daughter, Charlotte and their goldendoodle, Derby. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, exercising, and weekends on Lake Rabun, as well as spending time with family and friends

Meet Dr. Paul Hanna

Dr. Paul hanna

Dr. Paul Hanna earned his dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia, and his bachelor in science from Kennesaw State University. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of General Dentistry, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Hanna has also been awarded Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Hanna has completed extensive training in many aspects of dentistry, and is currently concluding a 9-month comprehensive dental implant program through the Dental College of Georgia. This commitment to staying on top of the latest techniques in modern dentistry allows Dr. Hanna to better serve his patients and their oral health.

Dr. Hanna grew up in Gwinnett County, where he currently resides with his wife Nancy and newborn son Timothy. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, swimming, and watching the Atlanta Falcons.
