Hi, I'm Dr. Katie Copeland!
If you are looking to get to know me better, I'm here to give you the scoop!
I was born here in Snellville, Georiga, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. After high school, I attended Clemson University and went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina.
Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Jones completed extensive training programs in dental implants, IV sedation, occlusion (your bite), and esthetic dentistry, allowing him to solve complex dental problems. In addition to private practice, Dr. Jones also lectures and teaches cosmetic and complex dentistry to other dentists, serving as a clinical instructor for the Clinical Mastery Series and speaking at dental meetings across the country. He has achieved Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. His well-rounded approach to education and technology ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Jones is an active participant in the community. He and his wife Margaret live in the area with their four children, Eloise, Teddy, Finn, and Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys getting out on the lake and watching college football (go Tigers!).
Katherine Copeland, DMD, earned her dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD), after earning her bachelor’s degree from Furman University. Throughout her training at ULSD, Dr. Copeland continually sought out opportunities to further her skill set. She completed an externship through the Indian Health Service at a clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, providing quality dental services to the Cherokee Indian tribe. Most recently, Dr. Copeland has completed advanced training in esthetic dentistry, occlusion, and Invisalign™ orthodontic training. Her commitment to pursuing postgraduate education in advanced dentistry allows her to incorporate these services into her practice to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. Copeland also places a high value on giving back to the community and volunteers regularly. She lives in the area with her husband Taylor and her daughter Charlotte. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, exercising, and weekends on Lake Rabun, as well as spending time with family and friends.
